Secta NZ Ltd Delivers Cutting-Edge Security Infrastructure for New Zealand’s Largest Mass Timber Office Building
Secta NZ Ltd is proud to announce its successful contribution to 90 Devonport Road, the largest modern mass timber commercial office building in New Zealand. Completed on time and within budget on 28 March 2025, this landmark project sets a new standard for sustainable design and smart technology integration.
Secta’s scope included the full installation of:
- Security and Access Control Systems
- CCTV surveillance
- MATV
- Intercom networks
- Speed Gate and
- Road Barrier automation
- Data and Fibre cabling across all 8 floors
In total, the team delivered:
- 83 access-controlled doors
- 76 surveillance cameras
- 210 fibre connections
- 1,773 data outlets
Constructed by LT McGuinness and acquired by the Property Income Fund, the 10,400 sqm building is now fully leased to Tauranga City Council. It brings together the council’s entire administration team under one roof for the first time since 2014 — enabling closer collaboration in a future-focused workplace.
